DALE CHILDERS, 56, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2009, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio with Rev. Tom Jones Sr., and Rev. Tom "Punkin" Jones Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Dale was born August 29, 1952, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Lawrence and Mary Halleck Childers. He is survived by his wife Barbara Crawford Childers; one son Kevin Dale Childers of Tuscumbia, Ala. Also surviving are a sister Shelia Childers and a brother, David Childers, both of Proctorville, Ohio; and a brother-in-law Bill and his wife Pam Crawford of Manchester, Tenn. He was a machine operator at Greif Brothers and a member of New Beginning Worship Center. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio.
