We just saw Wanda at the Saturday meeting of the Bass Lake Environmental Association and then to read (belatedly) in the paper about her sudden death. We still can't come to grips with it. Wanda was such a fun person to be around, that we can't but help believe that God called her home early to be with Him. We are blessed by God through Jesus Christ, that we will meet Wanda again in heaven. I'm sure she will be in charge of organizing something! Our prayers are for God's peace and comfort to be bestowed upon Gary and his family.

Dear Gary, Thanks so much for having Jeff call me. I just can't believe she's gone.
Wanda was a special person, a great friend, funny, always upbeat. You cold depend on her for help, always.
Please know that we are here for you. You will be in our thought, even though we can't be there.
Gary, the only reason I am not there is because I had a total knee replacement last week.
God Bless You,Sherry Higgins

Wanda was so genuine and easy to get to know. You knew where you stood with her. If she said you were welcome at her home anytime, you knew you were. She was very insightful, her life experiences made her a helpful caring person. We will miss sharing grandchildren with her so very much. The loss of all the time those beautful grandchildren will not have with her can not be replaced. We have known her too short of a time ourselves. Our love and hearts are with you. We love you all.

Gary and family,
Our hearts and love go out to you all at this sad time.
Wanda is a good friend and will be deeply missed by alot of people.
She was a very straight forward lady and was not afraid to tell it like it is.
Behind the gruff exterior was a very soft and kind lady who would not think twice about stepping in and helping another person out.
Wanda and Louie shared the same birth date and she would always remind him of who was the "youngest", and just how much older the other was.
Wanda will not be forgotten.

Wanda, where would I be today without you!
You were always very good to me when I was growing up. From hanging out at the Legion with my parents when I was much younger until I ended up as a dishwasher for you for my 4 years of high school.
You were always there to pat me on the back or more likely kick me in the rear end. Always with a smile, a loud voice and love. I have never been yelled at so lovingly!
When I graduated, moved away and then came back you never changed.
I recently signed a contract with a couple to build a home for them in Spencer Township. I can't tell you the joy I felt when I realized that I was going to see you again. You will be missed.
I am better for having you as a part of my life.
May you rest in peace.
