What a huge loss in our community. She loved the kids at school always buying them pizza and spending her own money on them. She was great to work with..always could make me laugh, yet always so thoughtful. I will truly miss her. My prayers go out to her family and especially her grandchildren. I was so shocked to hear from my Mom yesterday about Mel's passing. She was a great pal and I am a better person for having her as a friend for all these years. I'll miss her terribly but will have fun, fond memories of our friendship. I can just picture her dancing when I think of her. She was one of a kind.
