Dear Betsy and family,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. She will be remembered as a kind and sweet lady who always was upfront about what was on her mind! What a great sense of humor she had.. and a very postive attitude! Losing your mom is the one of the hardest moments in your life, and there is no one else to take her place in your heart. Be strong, gather support from your friends and family.. that is where she will be.

Violet Louise Christensen age 84 of Greenville died Thursday August 6, 2009 at Spectrum Health United Campus in Greenville. She was born in Olympia Washington on September 24, 1924 the daughter of James E. and Hattie B. McRostie Devine. She was married to Earl H. Christensen in Olympia WA on December 31. 1946. Violet was retired from United Memorial Hospital having worked in the kitchen and then volunteered at the hospital for over 20 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Stanton, VFW Auxiliary of Sheridan Post # 5065, the Flat River Community Players and the Greenville Area Senior Center.
