Agnes M. Hallock age 88 of Gowen died Monday September 21, 2009 at Spectrum Health United Memorial Long Term Care in Greenville. She was born in Belding on January 5, 1921 and after graduation from High School she married Amos L. Hallock. He preceded her in death in1986. Her brother Chester Nash and sister Margaret Tingley also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Greenville First United Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, Greenville and the auxiliary of the VFW Post in Sheridan .She is survived by her children; Geraldine (Ken) Norton of Vero Beach FL, Gary (Ariel) Hallock of Rockford and Beverly and (Dave) Scofield of Lakeview, Grandchildren; Bridgette, Lisa, Bryan, Rick, Curt, Misty, Mark, Doug and Theresa, 21 great grand and 2 great great grandchildren, her brother-in-law and sister-in-laws, Vernon (Marie) Hallock and Leatha (Dale) Chapin.
Funeral services will be held on Friday September 25, 2009 at 11 AM at Greenville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Charnley officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at Hurst Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.
