Beverly Jean CombsBeverly Jean Combs age 64 of Greenville moved to heaven Saturday October 3 2009 at Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus. She was born in Pontiac on May 5 1945 the daughter of Merton and Dorothy Calvert Brummett. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Greenville. She is survived by her daughter Amy (Peter) Donker and her son Matthew Combs all of Grand Rapids, her grandsons Tyler and Joseph Donker, her sister Suzanne Agar of Clarkston and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM on Wednesday October 7, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church Greenville with Revs. R. Mark Shaw and Dan Mead officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at Hurst Funeral Home Greenville.Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville. Memorial contributions may be given to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundati

Dear Ones, Beverly and I exchanged letters on Friday. In closing I told her she would always be a part of me... She was such a sweet, caring, giving person. I was truly blessed that I was sent to her and her family years ago. I will always treasure her love and devotion.

Amy & Matt Sorry to have learned of your mother's passing. We went to church with Bev through the years. We also knew your family through the Morris's. Very nice and sweet lady she was. We were so shocked to hear of Bev's passing. She was such a kind & gentle person. She sure gave our boys (Ben, Gabe & Zach) such wonderful care the years that she babysat them. I've always said they are kinder & more gentle people because of her kindness. She always had a smile on her face. She will deeply be missed. God Bless you all

Bev was such a kind, gentle lady. I knew her as a member of our koinonia group at Calvary Baptist Church. She was a special person and will be greatly missed, but I know she is rejoicing in Heaven. My prayers are with all of you.
