Marrel Dixon Sr. Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1934 - 2009 Marrel Dixon Sr., 75, Vinton, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Friday, October 23, 2009. He was a retired employed of Home Moving and Storage, Atlas Van Lines, Columbus, OH, and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was born April 4, 1934, in Milwaukee, WI, son of the late Marrel Gloan Dixon and Ida Caroline Swanson Dixon. Surviving are two children: Jamie Dixon of Bidwell and Marrel "Dickie" Dixon Jr of Vinton,OH; three grandchildren: Mason Dixon, Karen Dixon both of Pomeroy, and Joshua (Micah) Dixon of Vinton, OH; three step-children: Larry (Linda) Angles, Vinton, OH; Danny Angles and Rhonda (Donnie) Fouts,both of Columbus, OH; two brothers: Robert and Don; one sister, Eugenia McMahon and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM., Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, in the Harvestime Worship Center, Vinton, with Pastor David Marcum officiating. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Vinton American Legion Post 161. Burial will follow in the Pendleton-Marcum Cemetery, Vinton. Friends may call at the Harvestime Worship Center on Monday, 2:00 - 8:00 PM.

Good travels Uncle Snooky. Sorry we weren't able to visit one more time, but I am sure Dad and Grandma will be glad to see you. My condolances to Dickie, Jamie, Larry, Danny, Rhonda, and their children. Peace and better times.

To Uncle Snook's Family, It has been so many years since I have seen any of you but I would like you to know that I am so sorry to hear about your Dad's illness and his recent death.
