1923 - 2009
Anna Marie Curtis, 86, of Huntington, WV passed away Sunday November 8, 2009 in St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born May 31, 1923 in Morehead, KY, daughter of the late Carl L. Bolling Sr. and Lettie Simer Bolling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Carl L. Bolling Jr. She was a member of Central Christian Church and was a WWII Army Air Corp veteran. She is survived by her husband Lindy J. Curtis; two daughters Patti (Robert) Bruce of Huntington, WV and Linda Albasha of Garland, TX; two grandchildren John Robert Bruce IV and Lindsay Ann Marie Bruce; one brother Richard N. (Nita) Bolling of Richmond, VA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday November 11, 2009 at Central Christian Church Huntington, WV by Dr. Gary Patton and Rev. Beth Bondurant. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday November 10, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio and one hour before the service Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Central Christian Church Door Fund 1202 5th Ave Huntington, WV 25701 or Madison Avenue Christian Church 722 12th Street West Huntington, WV 25704. Proctorville VFW Post #6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
