Garnet Elizabeth Morrison Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1925 - 2009 Garnet Elizabeth Morrison, 84 of South Point, Ohio, widow of Robert H. Morrison passed away Saturday, November 14, 2009 in St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born March 8, 1925 in Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents John Burgess and Lily Mays Stewart; son Robert E. Morrison; two brothers Harland and Fredrick Stewart; and grandson Robert Johnson. She is survived by two sons Gary R. (Bertha) Morrison of South Point, Ohio; Donald L. (Jackie) Morrison of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters Loretta (Mike) Johnson of South Point, Ohio; Diana L. Allen of South Point, Ohio; ten grandchildren Jamie Josselyn, Robert J. Morrison, Alicia Morrison, Samantha Morrison, Alice Johnson, Laura Garish, Andrea Smith, David Allen, Kaylee Allen and Lyndsey Delawder; great grandchildren Robert Brown, Ryan Brown, Skylar Morrison, Abbygayle Garish, Isaiah Smith, Alexis Smith, Tayshaun Fox, Isabella Josselyn, Keira Morrison; one sister Anna Lester of Rio Grande, Ohio; one brother Charles Stewart of Huntington, WV. She was a member of The Gospel Chapel Church, Charley Creek Road, South Point, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday November 18, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor David Poplin. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens South Point, Ohio. Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday November 17, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home. Gary, Loretta, Donald, Diana: I am so sorry to hear your Mom passed. I remember playing with Diana, and how wonderful and welcoming Aunt Garnet and Uncle Bob were to me. Aunt Garnet was a wonderful person and her kindess will always be remembered.

Gary, Loretta, Diana, Donald, I am so saddened to hear your Mom passed away...As a child growing up with you on Sandusky, I remember her as a wonderful wife and mother and a kind woman who was always good to me and I never forgot her kindness...I know she is with the Lord now and my prayer for you is that God keep his hand upon you all and cover you with his grace to see you through the loss of your Mother...Love you all...Vickie
