Lucille Stanley Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1917 - 2009 Lucille Stanley, 92, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Tuesday December 1, 2009 in Heartland of Riverview. She was born April 5, 1917 in Crown City, Ohio, daughter of the late Gideon and Virginia Brumfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles "Red" Stanley; son Danny D. Stanley; and two sisters Virginia Fortner and Marie Dornon. Lucille is survived by four grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Karen Stanley. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 5, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Todd Kincaid. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday December 4, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Portsmouth. Family of Lucille Stanley, I'm sorry that I could not be with you today, but want you to know that you are on my mind, and in my prayers. My emotions are mixed--regretting that we can no longer see nor hear Lucille in the flesh, but rejoicing that her suffering has ended - for all eternity. We know that she is young, healthy and happy to be reunited with her loved ones who have been waiting for her. She and Red were always 'there' for me and I loved them dearly. God bless you and yours.
