Clotilda C. Ross age 88 of Greenville passed away at her home Wednesday December 2, 2009. She was born June 3, 1922 in Conklin MI the daughter of Arthur and Louise Gross Courtade. Tillie was retired from Bissell Manufacturing in Grand Rapids and was a member of Greenville Senior Center and attended First Congregational Church in Greenville. She married Gordon C. Ross on February 8,1999 in Greenville. She was preceded in death by her daughter Gail Nelson on July 26,2009 and also her brothers Gerard and Charles Courtade.
Surviving are her husband Gordon, son William Fisk of Wyoming, grandchildren, Terry Heath, Rick Heath, Amy Welch and William Fisk Jr, great grandchildren Ryan, Jason, Savanna, Zeth, Jessica and Christopher, her step daughters, Arlene Roe of Tucson AZ and Geraldine Gray of Hopkins, brothers and sisters, Richard (Mary Ellen) Courtade of Sparta, Rhea (Lyle) Fisk of Sand Lake, Mary Rysdyke of Comstock Park and Sister-in-law Betty Courtade of Rockford.
Funeral services will be on Saturday December 5, 2009 at 11 AM at First Congregational Church of Greenville. Rev. Jerrold T. Jones will officiate with burial in Oakfield Township Cemetery, Greenville. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 PM at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville. Memorial contributions may be given to 1st Congregational Church or Spectrum Hospice
