I kNEW Nancy for many years. my family was friends with her fsmily and we visited them often. fter her father dided, I visited her and her mom whenever I came back to Huntington. AQfter she moved to the nursing home I continued to vist her as often as I could. I was shocked to learn of her passing. i am glad that she finally received her reward and is with God. She was a blessing from the time of her birth, always doing God's will. She will be miss'd but not forgotten.

To Those Hearing these Words, As Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church, it was one of the first to support me in Puerto Rico--now more than 43 years. I remember so well meeting Nancy and finding out that she was the one in charge of those monthly gifts. Not only did she do that, but she was concerned about us as well. My coworker, Beverly, and I had the privilege of staying in her home. What a blessing. She treated us like royalty. Now, she is receiving the royal treatment in Heaven. No more pain, no more forgetfulness. She is remembering well that her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ gave Himself for her. What a joy and privilege it was to visit her in the nursing home, along with Linda's mother. She still remembered, I think. Hopefully, she and Linda's mother have already met some dear saints from Puerto Rico that they had a part in reaching. I look forward to meeting you new folks as our health permits. God bless you all and comfort you with His comfort. Sincerely, Carolyn Sanders Missionary in Puerto Rico

Congratulation to our beloved sister Nancy. Beyond Life's Gateway There's an open gate At the end of the road Through which each must go alone, And there in a light we cannot see, Our Father claims His own... Beyond the gate, Your loved one Finds happiness and rest, And there is comfort in the thought That a loving God knows best. May God, who calls our dear ones home And grants them peace and rest, Give you the strength and Faith to say That He indeed knows best. Our beloved Nancy, we will see you soon with our Savior Jesus Christ. In Gospel For India we all remember your parts in reaching the world, you wrote most of the checks for missionaries in the world, the eternity will tell you the fruits of your love, prayer and support you did in this life. From Br. Abraham & Sarah Gospel For India

Nancy is Home at last! In her last couple of years she talked all the time about wanting to see her Mom and Dad. Now she can do that. She's also enjoying seeing her Savior face to face--the one who she loved with all her heart. Our Mother and Nancy are now enjoying each other's company again, and this time with perfect bodies. Even though her mind failed her, up until near the end, she still had God's Word in her heart and the words to many many hymns. Now she is rejoicing without those human limitations. We will miss her greatly, but rejoice that she is Home with her parents, our Mom, and most importantly, Our Lord.

No one deserves a new body more than Nancy. All her life she lived a life of joy and happiness before the rest of us. Sometimes when someone gets up in years and their mind begins to fail them, they are shocked to say and do things which are not becoming to them. But in these later years as Nancy has lost her sense of reality she never seemed to lose her joy and happiness. Always smiling and always pleased to see you even if she did not know who it was that stood before her. Nancy was a classy lady in her dress and the way she presented herself right up to the very end. Love, Tom & Selva

Our dear Sister in Christ and Friend, Nancy, We know that, by the time that this note of gratitude to you is read, you will already be with your dear Saviour. Our mere words, though deeply sincere, will seem so inadequate. For you will know, as soon as you are in Gods presence, the eternal impact that your giving had in the lives of so many. You will see, perhaps for the first time, those for whom you have sacrificed through the years. Most of all, you will see Jesus. And the look in His eyes will tell you everything and so much more than what we could say with words! So, really, what we would like to say is to those who are left behind here. We want to say how we thank the Lord for Mrs. Nancy and for her example of faithfulness and eternal-mindedness in her love for missions and missionaries! We personally are thankful to the Lord for her prayers and giving to us and the work God has called us to among the North American Native Peoples. We know God will continue to bring forth fruit all over the world because of that love, too. Our prayer now is that the Lord will continue to give you, as her family and her church family, much comfort and strength each day. We know you all will miss her very much. Our hearts and prayers will be with you. Thank you again for letting us share in Mrs. Nancys Homegoing Celebration. With much love in Christ, Kevin and Pam Barthel
