My Gram was so special to me and my family. She was our matriarch and fearless leader. She was also the one you could go to if you needed an ally to keep you from getting into trouble with your parents, to teach you to play cards and farkle, to let you put the last peice of the puzzle in place, or even just to have someone to make you laugh. She meant so much to so many, and any and all words fall short to describe the memories, accomplishments, and love for our "Super Gram". So I will just say...Gram, I miss you so much, and I love you with all of my heart and soul. I am sad that I can't be with you now, but someday i will be and until then you will always live on in my heart.

Thanks to all of you for your kind thoughts and words for my Grandma. She truly was a remarkable woman who taught me a lot about how to live my life, the value of family, and what's really important. God kept her with us for purpose and she lived the example for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren to understand and to follow. Gram, I love you so much and I know I will see you again someday. Thanks for all the love you gave me throughout my life. We miss you on this side, but you've got the better view now. Love you forever, Your grandson Eddie

Carl, Hannah, Larry and Peggy, I'm so sorry for your loss. I have so many memories of playing at your house. I remember the Avon. I remember learning to ride my bike starting at the top of the drive-way [Larry thought that would be good]. I remember when I broke my arm and had to be in the hospital. The hospital was terrible. Avanelle made turkey and noodles and sent some to the hospital in a shoe box, [before tupperware], that was the best meal I had for days. She was a great cook! I love you all. Sorry I missed the funeral. Kay

Just not sure what to say to all of you. We have all been lucky to have our moms with us this long. We always looked forward coming to your house even if we had to pluck chickens. Love you all so much and will be praying for you as you deal with your loss. Love, Sara

Carl and Larry so so sorry to hear about Avanelle. She sure led a long and wonderful life. Over the years did we ever have fun. I loved playing in her avon samples when I was little. I loved here dearly. I was told by a lady in a rest home one day to make memories cause someday thats all you have left. Boy do I have the best memories of her ever. God Bless you all. Love V.J
