1938 - 2009
Hubert "George" Lowe, 71, of Proctorville, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 16, 2009 in St. Mary's Medical Center with family by his side. He was born May 23, 1938 in Charleston, WV, son of the late Hubert G. and Grace Gertrude Huffman Lowe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings. George was retired and former owner of Midas Muffler. He spent over 20 years as a vendor and friend of Proctorville Flea market and also enjoyed gardening. George is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Rosa Lowe; son and daughter-in-law Bobby and Pam Lowe of Corning, Arkansas; daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Stephen D. Burcham of Proctorville; two granddaughters, Jodi and Evan Hall and Jessica and Jared Fox all of Proctorville; one great granddaughter Isla Faith Hall; one great grandson on the way, Thomas Alexander Fox; four sisters Rosemary Jordan of North Carolina, Kay and Houston Woods of Pinch, WV, Phyllis "Cookie" Martin of Charleston, WV, and Nancy Martin of Reno, Nevada; and special friends John Paul and Shirley Abshire and John Wayne Abshire and family; many more friends; and loving dog Gidget. A celebration of George's life will be held 8 p.m. Friday December 18, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home by Rev. Shirley Ball and Rev. Greg Inboden. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

When my mom told me I was just so shocked. George was a great person and he will be missed. Im sure dad will miss him yelling across the street for him to come have coffee with him. Wish I could of saw him one last time.
