Jason was like a brother to me. He had an awesome personality, always happy, always out for having a good time. He was loved by many people, and alot of them really looked up to jason, even myself. My heart goes out to all of Jason's family at this difficult time. I remember spending time with Jason in Pennsylvania when we were kids. He was a very bright person. It is such a shame to lose him at such a young age. I send my love to everyone he left behind.

Jason Tyrone Walter, 30, of Scottown, Ohio passed away Friday January 8, 2010. He was born June 12, 1979 in Gallipolis, Ohio. He is survived by his children Kristian Jacey Walter and Jeremy Conner Walter; mothers Gaillyn Bowman and Elizabeth Walter; fathers Duane Lee Bowman and Charles Robert Walter; three sisters Jennifer Taylor, Shannon Giamoni, and Cristie Derea; grandparents Larry and Shirley Myers; and great grandmother Yudica Hance. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Raymond E. Walter and grandmother Mary Francis Walter. Jason was a 1997 Fairland High School Graduate and a Carpenter with Union Carpenters, Local #356. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday January 11, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Jerry Galloway. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday January 11, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Salvation Army. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
