Earl was simply a wonderful example of a Christian. Always friendly, always with the time to speak without acting like he was hurried. His presence will be missed at the World of Wheels, he will also be missed by everyone who knew him.

Jerry: I don't know if you remember me, but I lived in the house next to you on Arlington, Blvd. We vowed to stay friends after you moved, however, somehow we have drifted apart. I read about Earl's passing this morning, and just wanted to let you know that I am so sorry for your loss. Please tell the boys I said hello, and if you want to contact me...I am Carole Newman in the phone book. May God with with you and your family at this time of your grief.

We were great friends in high school. We played basketball, baseball and wiffleball almost every day. Third ave and 32st will never be the same. He was always happy and smiling. He was the best left handed hitter I've ever seen. I will miss him and the laughs. God bless Earl Davis.
