Samuel James Conn, 66 of Huntington, WV went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on February 7, 2010. He was born in Wayne County, WV on September 14, 1943. He is survived by his wife Felicia Helen Bragg Conn; four stepdaughters Alicia Dawn Thornton Cook (Lee), Amelia Diane Thornton Baker(Charlie) , Andrea Danielle Thornton (Darius Aldridge), Megan Elizabeth DiGati (Shane Huff); 8 grandchildren Phillip Linne, Jr. (Stephanie), Alison Linne, Anna Cook, Courtney Baker, Kaitlyn Baker, Josiah Baker, Alyssa Aldridge, Hunter Huff; three adopted grandchildren Amy Hively, Nick Chiericozzi, Steven Chiericozzi; 1 great grandson Wesley Stephen Linne. He is also survived by his siblings Golden Ray Conn, Doug Conn, Goble Conn, Granville Conn, Jr., Anne Conn Walker, Loretta Conn Hanshaw, Sarah Conn Watts and a host of nieces and nephews. He was a member of Milton Church of God. He was a brick layer by profession. He was preceded in death by his parents Georgia Zelma Spurlock Conn and Granville Conn. He was loved by all and had many friends. Services will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Ronnie Marcum and Pastor Douglas Bragg.
