To Frances and all of the Family, Pat and I send our most sincere condolence to you for your great loss. As you well know, Fred and I grew up in Milton in the thirties and forties. We were always good friends. When I entered the Marine Corps, I lost track of Fred and we did not reconnect for approximately 45 years but then renewed our friendship. He had serviced our country well in the U.S. Army and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his heroic action while serving in the Korean War. For many years, Fred and I have visited by telephone on Saturday mornings at 12:00 P.M. Eastern / 9:00 A.M.
Pacific Time. Your Loss is our loss but we also know Fred was ready to go meet his Lord and now we have a good friend in high-places. May God continue to bless you Frances and all of Fred's family and Friends.
Dave & Pat

Dear Frances, Growing up,you and Fred were more like an Aunt and Uncle than my Mother's (Laura Moses Neel) life long friends. Some of the happiest childhood memories are those when we had cookouts with Fred, you,Bonnie and Steve at the pond on our farm. Fred would play his guitar and sing "Ole Shep" and "Danny Boy". He later told me when our eyes filled with tears he would sing slower and sadder - all of his stories were followed with his genuine whole hearted laughter and that twinkle in his eye. After all he went through the last few years Fred never lost his sense of humor or his love of a good joke. I'm so glad we came to visit. Everyone should be as blessed as Fred, to have THE MOST loving and devoted spouse as you -it is crystal clear that you were and always will be the love of each other's life!
God's speed Fred
