I will always remember meeting Barry and Shirley at John and Carla's house. All the family stories that were shared that made this family, a family. He would be making the family laugh so much. I will miss the laughter and the stories. My thoughts and prayers are with you Shirley and Matt.

Barry and I were school friends. I will always remember the good times we had. We both joined the Navy back in 1968 and went through boot camp together. He was a god friend and I will miss him.

Barry you will be greatly missed. Your big smile, and the biggest "Well Hello, how are you guys" Just knowing you've moved from Michigan to Heaven, makes the whole state of Michigan seem empty. So glad we got to talk to you the other day, to tell you that we loved you and to hear your chipper voice one last time. Rest in Jesus Barry, and tell My Momma I said "Hello, and I Love her"!

Barry you are my "Little Buddy" and I am going to miss you badly! Your big smile, and hearing you say "Hey John, when we going fishing"? I will miss your phone calls and our conversations about the things we have done in the past, and the things we wanted to do in the future. Rest peacefully Little Buddy in the arms of Jesus! You're forever in my life. Your "Big Buddy" John.

MY DEAR UNCLE So many thoughts,in my head.So many things, left unsaid. You left that day, without a glance. What was in your head, the last moments you had.I hope you though happy thoughts, and not sad.No one can ever take your place.Your image in my heart will never erase. As you smile one me from up above. My mind is still sad but my heart is filled with love.I love you dear uncle you meant the world to me. I'll always make you proud of me you will see. I love you Uncle Barry..

Uncle Barry was my best uncle I have ever had it`s a painful time just to think about what happened but he is in heaven right now and i am sure he loves it there. Sooner or later we all go away but we make the choice to go to heaven or hell and he made the decision to go to the place pain is never known. He was the most humble Uncle i have ever had and i am glad he is in heaven.

Ecc. 3:4 states there is a time to weep, a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance. Praise God my uncle Barry is no longer mourning or weeping. He is now dancing laughing and singing praises to the king. Free from pain and enjoying things that we here on earth could not even begin to understand. Aunt Shirley and Matt, I love you both. If you need anything let me know.

Uncle Barry was truly a one of a kind. He was a joy to be around. I can say honestly he always made me smile no matter what kind of a mood I was in before seeing him. I didn't leave his presence without laughing. He always had a story to tell. He enjoyed his hobby farm. His nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews alike if he found out that you had a loose tooth he was ready and more than willing to assist. We love you Uncle Barry and you will be missed but we know that you've gone home to be with Jesus and we'll see you again when we get there and we'll all be praising and singing together to our Father in heaven. ;) To Shirley and Matt the holy spirit is our comforter and walks with you through every mountain and valley ask him to guide your path everyday. I love you both. I think of the song I'll praise you in this storm. (casing crowns)

Barry was a great father figure to me and he didn't have to do much i could just feel the love around as i walked in the door. Barry, shirley, and matt made me realize what a family should feel like and what my family was missing. I will always remember Barry's smile and the jokes that followed. Matt and Shirley i will love u always.
