1921 - 2010
 Robert Lee "Bob" Kachelreis, Sr., 88, of Proctorville, OH, passed away Friday February 19, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center after a short illness. He was born July 31, 1921 in New Boston, OH, son of the late Ethel Jenkins Kachelreis and John George Kachelreis. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Clayola "Olie" Cremeans Kachelreis in December 2009; three sisters, Helen Kachelreis Evans Beal, Elizabeth Kachelreis Call, and Freda Kachelreis Irby Jordan; and two brothers, George Kachelreis, and Julius Kachelreis. Bob is survived by his son Bob (Judy) Kachelreis of Chesapeake, OH; two grandchildren, Brad (Nadia) Kachelreis of Georgetown, KY, and Christy (Josh) Porter of Fort Bragg, NC; four great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Lillie Kachelreis of Georgetown, KY, Matthew and Hannah Porter of Fort Bragg, NC. He was a lifelong carpenter retired INCO Alloys. He was able to use his skill and love of carpentry to provide for his family and serve his community and church. Bob was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be conducted 1 PM Tuesday February 23, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Dr. David Lemming. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday February 22, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the New Hope United Methodist Church Building Fund, 111 Township Road 1130, Proctorville, OH 45669.
