Ernest Eugene Varney Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1950 - 2010 Ernest Eugene Varney, 59, of Ona, WV passed away Sunday March 7, 2010 in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born June 21, 1950 in Lanville, WV, son of the late William Hutchison Price Varney and Gladys Avenell Pack Varney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Emzy B. Varney, William Hutchison Price Varney Jr. and Douglas Varney; and one sister Shirley Lee Varney Newton. He is survived by his wife Anna Varney; daughter Faithanna Hope Varney of Ona, WV; three sisters Sandra Johnstall of Florida, Sharon C. (Darrell) Crislip of Huntington, WV, and Sherry M. Smith of Florida; one brother Rev. Benny C. Varney of Huntington, WV; and two special friends Ronnie Breedlove and Scotty Scarberry. Pallbearers will be Benny Varney, Ronnie Breelove, Scotty Scarberry, Darrell Crislip Sr., Darrell Crislip Jr., Shane Crislip, and Cecil Crislip. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 11, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home by Bob Varney. Burial will follow in Aid Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday March 10, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
