Everett "E.J." Ellis Jr., 49, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Saturday March 13, 2010 in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born September 6, 1960 in Huntington, WV, son of Everett and Mary Baise Ellis Sr. of Chesapeake, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lawrence and Mayme Ellis. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son Adam Ellis and Amanda Stephens of South Point, Ohio; daughter Leah Ellis of South Point, Ohio; two stepsons Andrew Bundy and Dwayne Bundy of Ironton, Ohio; fiance Sherry Bundy; former wife Kathleen Ellis of South Point, Ohio; one granddaughter Amaya Ellis and one grandson Chase Stephens; one brother Stephen Ellis of Chesapeake, Ohio; and two sisters Angela Johnson and Tina Frye of Ironton, Ohio. A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday March 16, 2010 at Highland Memorial Gardens South Point, Ohio by Rev. Denver Prater. Visitation will be held from 11:00 to 12:30 Tuesday March 16, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

He will be so greatly missed, he was such a good spirited person who always knew how to make those around him laugh out loud. I will miss him greatly.

Dear Sherry,
I am so sorry to hear about E.J. I didn't realize he was as sick as he was. I'll forever carry fond memories of you both in my mind and heart. You were both a blast to be around and E.J.'s passing will be felt deeply. I regret that I cannot attend today due to work and not being able to get off, however, you will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God Bless you and strengthen you during these dark times.
