Corine Baker ThompsonMrs. Corine Baker Thompson, 92 longtime resident of the Broaddus Community (San Augustine County), passed away March 19, 2010, in Beaumont, Texas.

A native of Broaddus, Texas, San Augustine County, she was born to Leona (West) Baker and William Baker on October 7, 1917. She was a homemaker, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Pineland.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Don Faulk, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Pineland officiating. Interment will follow in the Hebron Cemetery in San Augustine County, Texas.

Her survivors include: Son and Daughter-in-Law: Tommy and Linda Thompson of Beaumont; Grandsons and wives: David and Carolee Thompson of Beaumont, John and Michelle Thompson of Beaumont; Great-Grandchildren: Ainsley Liann, Jack Michael, Reagan Lynn and Travis John;

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leona (West) Baker and William Baker, and a son: Bobby Dean Thompson.

She will lie-in-state on Sunday, March 21, 2010, beginning at 12 noon until at service time at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, 316 West Columbia St., San Augustine.

Pallbearers will be David Thompson, John Thompson, David Fuller, Brock Weatherford, Brent Weatherford, and Kenny Wynne.

We are so sorry for the lost of your mother Corine Thompson. Our mother (Yvonne Kingsley) and Corine and all her sisters were best friends when they were little girls. I wish we could have gone to her funeral. Charlene Gilder, Mary Reynolds, & Thelma Means
