Morris Averal Morris Averal "Sam" Faulkner, 70 of Huntington, WV passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born in Miller, Ohio on September 17, 1939 to the late Averal Leo and Virginia Fulks Faulkner. He was a truck driver with local 505 teamsters. He attended Jackson Avenue Church of God until he was no longer able to go. He loved his Church family and a special cat named "Buffy". He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Lillian Evelyn James Faulkner and a loving daughter Rhonda Lynn Faulkner Bloss and son-in-law Jeffrey Bloss; granddaughter Ryan Michell Bloss and great-grandson Jailyn all of Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted 2 pm Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Eugene Houck. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 pm Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mountain State Christian School P.O. Box 510 Culloden, WV. 25510. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

DOLLY, SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT SAM, SORRY I COULD NOT MAKE IT TO THE FUNERAL HOME. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER SAM, AND REMEMBER ALL THE DAYS THAT HE TRUCKED DOWN THE ROAD WITH MY FATHER & THE GOOD TIMES THEY HAD TOGETHER... I REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I SAW SAM WAS AT MY FATHERS FUNERAL.... HE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY, AND WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED FOR THAT SMILE ON HIS FACE.... SAM THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES FROM THE PAST..... Dolly, We are so sorry to hear about Sam, but we know that his mind is clear now as he is taking in the sights of that Blessed City! I will never forget the privilege it was to baptize Sam (and you too--just to make him feel safe & secure). We were so blessed to hear him shouting victory! Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers! We wish we could be there to express our support personally! God will be there with you to comfort! Hold on to Him! Lillian, Sorry to hear about Sam. I worked on his Detroit engines on his trucks You always went to Midway and got our food. He was a good friend.RON Payne
