I just moved to the Lexington, Ky. area. I was best friends with Jimmy growing up. I was going to try and reach him and found this out. I was the niece of the late Azel & Irene Blake. I am sooo sorry for your pain.

Dear Becky,
I am saddened by the loss of Jimmy. I am certain these last few days have been difficult and my thoughts and prayers are with you and Mary. Jimmy will be remembered in the kindest of ways and I will not soon forget how he touched mine and so many other lives through the friendship he shared. May God embrace Jimmy as he did us in his life. If there is anything I or the Disc Golf community can do to help, please do not hesitate to contact me or others anytime. I knew Jimmy back in the late '70's and early '80's. We have lots of fun together. I am sorry to hear that he is gone. May Our Lord comfort you in this sad time.

may god ease the pain i knew jimmy for a little while he lived out back of our shop.he was a great guy very funny!may god richely bless you all he will be missed!i still walk to the side of the shop and cant believe its real.

I am sorry for your loss. I knew Jimmy from the disc golf park in Huntington. I never saw anything but kindness displayed by him. Whether he was donating time (and chili) to the Ice Bowl tournament or helping me look for lost disc, he was always a good friend and will be missed.
