1954 - 2010
Carla Diane Dray, 55, of Chesapeake, Ohio went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2010 after a brief illness. Carla was a wife, mother, sister, and friend to everyone. She leaves behind a husband of 35 years, John Wesley Dray; daughter and son-in-law, Missy and Adam Rister; brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Cindy Carver, stepfather and wife, Edwin and Tammie Koletka; stepbrother, Benji Koletka, all of Chesapeake, Ohio; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was born October 21, 1954, daughter of the late Bernice Ann "Pete" Blanton Koletka and Paul Prince. In addition to her parents, Carla was also preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John Allen Dray and Lillian May Dray; and both her paternal and maternal grandparents. Funeral service will be conducted 2 P.M. Tuesday March 30, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Jerry Galloway and Pastor Steven Carver. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 P.M. Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. 2 Timothy 4: 7-8 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith; henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

I AM SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I REMEMBER ALL OF THE DRAY FAMILY EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NOT SEEN YOU FOR A LONG WHILE. MY MOM FRANCES SMITH, TOOK US THERE TO VISIT WHEN I WAS YOUNGER. I REMEMBER ED AND JOHN AND THE GIRLS AS WELL AS ED, WESLEY AND LILLIAN. WE ARE COUSINS.

Aunt Carla was a very kind and giving person , which there are few and far betwen in this world, she was a very unselfish person and would give anyone the shirt off her back if they needed it. for this the world has yet again lost another person that it needed so much in it. it will be hard to cope with the loss of her from this world . Uncle john just know if you need anything please rember we will be here for you.
