1925 - 2010
Betty Bowyer, 84, of Huntington, WV, walked with Jesus into Heaven on Thursday April 8, 2010. There she joined many family and friends who were awaiting her. She was born April 22, 1925 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of Clayton and Edith Cremeans. She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Hazel Bowles, Clayola Kachelreis, Edith Baker, Elsie Cliff, and Irene Stinnett; a brother William Cremeans; her loving husband, Al Bowyer Sr. ; and many friends. She is survived by her son, Alvin Bowyer, Jr. and his wife Debra; and several nieces and nephews. She lived her life sharing her love of Jesus with those around her. She was a former employee of Van Sant Supply of Huntington, a homemaker and mother, and worked with her son establishing AB Ministorage Inc. of Milton, where she served as secretary and assisted many clients with rentals and made many friends and contacts there. She was a member of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church and enjoyed the fellowship of their broadcast ministry during her recent years not being able to attend. Visitation with the family will be at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio on Saturday April 10, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday April 11, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home with burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Barboursville, WV. In lieu of flowers, family requests any showings of love be directed to Lewis Memorial Baptist Church- Daily Walk Ministry(television ministry) in her honor. I am so sorry about your mom's passing but we all know she will be your dad singing in the heavenly choir and have a new body. I am sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral and visitation but my prayers are with you. I loved your mother she was a great christian lady. Love, Kathy
