I am deeply sorry for the loss of your mom. She was very dear to me and I will miss her alot !!! May she now rest in peace with God. I know that you are still hurting, but in time God will take away all that pain. Just remember all the good times that you had with her and all the memories you share. You are in my prayers. I am so sorry to hear about your mother, I worked with Mrs Irene at West Department for the Thompsons. She was a very kind and friendly person. I enjoyed working with. She talked all the time about her son and daughter-in law. You would have thought from the way she talked that Lou Ann was the daughter. My God bless you continually. Ms. Larkin

I remember working with Ms.Irene at West's, she was a joy to work with and she will be missed by everyone she came in contact with. She is with the Lord, in a much better place than we are. God Bless the family!

Irene Mashaw Killgo 88 of Jasper died April 11, 2010 at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Oaks Chapel with interment to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery located in Jasper. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 13, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Crematory of Jasper. A native of Jasper she lived in Houston, San Angelo, Dallas, and New Caney before moving back to Jasper in 1975 where she worked at West's Department Store in the Fabric Department for fifteen years before retiring. A former longtime member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church she moved her letter to be with family at the Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was predeased by her parents Jeff an Bessie Mashaw, husband Carlton Killgo and brother Norman Mashaw. Survivors include a son Jerry and wife Lou Ann Killgo of Jasper, TX. Brothers Jimmy and wife Barbara Mashaw of Hughes Springs, TX. and Huey and wife Jo Mashaw of New Johnsonville, TN. and a Sister-in-law Jean Mashaw Becker of Dallas, TX.
Grandchildren Dr. Jay and wife Jennifer Killgo and Karol and husband Robert Moser and Great Grandchildren Taylor and Averi Killgo and Grace and Emily Moser. Condolences can be posted a twww.forestoaksofjasper.com.
