Edward Eddie Glen Preston, 64, of Crown City Ohio, passed away Tuesday, at home following a long illness. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2010, at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Jimmy Lester. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller Ohio. He was born Oct. 11, 1945, in Huntington, W.Va., son of Herman Ancil Preston and Dorothy Mae Williams Adkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father Raymond Adkins, one brother, Charles Preston, and one sister, Nancy Owens and one step-sister Loretta Russ. Eddie is survived by his wife Dora Lee Preston; two sons, Edward Preston of New Bern, North Carolina and Christopher Bryan Preston of Waycross Georgia; Two daughters, Lacie Skeen of Crown City Ohio, and Lori Preston of Proctorville Ohio and one sister, Donna Lewis of Huntington. Eddie is also survived by his Grandchildren, Kassandra Preston, Kyle Preston, Joshua Lethig, Tyler Preston, Savannah Preton, Chase Skeen, Abigail Skeen, and Chloe Preston. Eddie was a veteran of the U.S. Army, retired from the BASF corporation, was a member of the PACE Union; and long time local farmer and produce dealer at the Cabell County Tailgate Farmers Market. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010, at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Nora, Lora, Lacie, and the rest of the family: I haven't been around any of you for a long time now. My aunt sis just let me know about "Eddie" I am so sorry to hear about this.
