1924 - 2010
Grace B. Lang, 85 of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 in the Hospice House of Huntington. She was born May 15, 1924 to the late George Mitchell and Bertha Wilson Mead. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Cecil and Carl Mead; three sisters Pauline Burge, Beulah Ferbrache and Hazel Law. She is survived by her husband Calvin Lang; two sons George Lang of Chesapeake, Ohio and John (Judy) Lang of Chesapeake, Ohio; one daughter Tammy (Jim) Meyers of West Chester, Ohio; five grandchildren David Lang, Angela Lockhart, Brandon Lang, Jenny Brickey and Liz Wren; nine great grandchildren Bryce, Cade, Marissa, Austin, Cassidy, Gabi, Autumn, Alex and Isabella. She was a member of Symmes Creek Missionary Baptist Church and she was a retired cook from Collins Career Center. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Harvey Lang. Burial will follow in Langdon Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
