Sternley G. Hall, 79, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Saturday May 8, 2010 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Sternley was born July 12, 1930 in McDowell, Kentucky, son of the late Bert and Maudie Hall. Sternley was retired from INCO, and was a Korean War US Air Force Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Marvis Hall; three brothers, Adrian Hall, James Marley Hall, and Floyd Hall; and three sisters, Irmal Moore, Opal Maynard, and Vivian Pack. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Mark Rieder; one granddaughter, Nicole Rieder, all of Proctorville; two sisters, Eunice Taylor of Lavalette, WV, and Nannie Stephenson of Raceland, KY; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 1 P.M. Tuesday May 11, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Berkeley Saunders. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery with Proctorville VFW Post #6878 conducting military graveside rites. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Monday May 10, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall

Dear Family, So sorry for your loss. He was a great man. We always enjoyed talking to him, when he was able to get out. He is in a much better place now. May God bless you & comfort you in this time of sorrow.
