Joseph Edward Brown, 90 of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Community Hospice in Ashland, KY. He was born January 1, 1920 to the late Joseph Wymer and Fannie Mae Brown. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother William H. Brown and one sister Virginia Daniels. He is survived by three daughters Betty J. Mynes of Salem, Ohio, Mary L. Fedor of Ironton, Ohio and Donna S. Cremeans of Chesapeake, Ohio; and ten grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Jody Fortner. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio with Proctorville V.F.W. Post 6878 conducting military graveside rites. Visitation will be held 1 pm to 2 pm Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Joseph Brown was my Grandfather and was always making me laugh and smile.He always knew how to lift up my spirits by telling the funniest jokes and those crazy faces of his.I will truly miss him.Love and prayers Rhonda Kowalski

I am so sorry that he is gone, and I hope that everyone is okay. I don't remember much about my great-grandpa; only that the silly songs he used to make up when I was 3 made me laugh and smile. I remember that he was a kind person, and I know he will be missed very much.

I just wanted to let you know I am sorry to hear about Joe. I used to play with Mary when I was a child. My mother was Mary Alice Brown Duffey (daughter of Howard Brown, Sr.)
