Christopher Steven Ferguson, 35 of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Monday, May 31, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born August 26, 1974 to the late of William and Florence Combs Ferguson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Lloyd "Cookie" Ferguson; grandparents James and Nellie Ferguson, John and Stella Combs. He is survived by one son Joshua Ferguson of Proctorville, Ohio; four brothers John (Debbie) Ferguson of Proctorville, Ohio; Mark (Betty) Ferguson of Proctorville, Ohio; Nathan (Sherri) Ferguson of Chesapeake, Ohio and Matthew Ferguson of Proctorville, Ohio; six sisters Geneva (Roger) Burge of Proctorville, Ohio; Trudy Rowe of Proctorville, Ohio; Sharon (Greg) Aldridge of Ironton, Ohio; Darlene (Cordell) Akers of Corpus Christi, TX; Barbara (Irv) Workman of Winchester, KY and Melissa (Greg) Van Horn of Ironton, Ohio; 27 nieces and nephews; and a host of many special friends. He was employed as a Rehabilitation Specialist with ResCare of Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Eddie Salmons. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be conducted 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. To the family, may God be with you at this a time of great loss. I am still dealing with the death of my mother and I am sorry that I could not be there for you in person. Chris was always pleasant. He always smiled and waved as he drove by the house or beeped if I was busy in the yard. I will miss that! I know this is a very hard thing to bear. My prayers are with your family and Joshie.

You will be missed by so many people in this life.. I am just one of many,, I will miss the talking on the phone with you.. Knowing you were always gonna be there when I came home for a visit,,, you are my baby brother and this just isn't fair.. But we know what Dad always said,,, "life ain't fair"...Be at peace..
