1939 - 2010
Naomi Margaret Tackett, 70 of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Monday, June 7, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born July 3, 1939 to the late Earl and Beulah Boster Thornton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Myrtle Durkin. She is survived by her husband Calvin Tackett; three daughters Anita Barry of Chesapeake, Ohio, Brenda Ferguson of Ceredo, WV and Carolyn Harless of Huntington, WV; two sons Darryl Tackett of Mason County, WV and Calvin Tackett, Jr. of Ceredo, WV; one sister Patricia Hill of Chesapeake, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of New Beginnings Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 9, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Tom Jones and Pastor Chuck Barry. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Anita and family,
I didnt really know your mom but I saw her with her children from a very young age till now I know how much she loved you and watched over you. May Our Lord and Saviour comfort you at this time and bring you healing and peace. God gives us a great gift it is memories which you will cherish all your days. Someday and probably not very long you will get to be with her. Our losses are heavens gain and Jesus has welcomed her home. Keeping you and your family in my prayers.
