Virginia Rose Holland, 69 of Proctorville, Ohio went to meet her Lord on Wednesday June 16, 2010 at home. She was born October 7, 1940 in Chesapeake, Ohio daughter of the late A. Frank Singer and Sarah Eloise Singer Shavor of Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by one brother Charles F. "Dickie" Singer. In addition to her mother she is survived by one daughter and one son; two sisters Carol Ann Holland, with whom she made her home and Sarah "Sue" (Ron) Miller of McConnelsville, Ohio; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Defender Methodist Church, Chesapeake, Ohio. She retired from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Defender Methodist Church, Chesapeake, Ohio. Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.
