Keri, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. You had the same kind of relationship with your gran as I did with her sister, my nanny! I know they are watching over us. They both are greatly missed.

Kari: I am very sorry for your loss. We will all miss Gran, she was a warm and loving person. I will miss talking and laughing with her, we all had a lot of good times together. I know how much she meant to you and your children. She was not only your Granny but a second mother as well. Just know that you made her last years wonderful. She loved it when you took her shopping, out to dinner, and of course those nail appointments. If it weren't for you she would have never got to enjoy her life like that. And don't forget the smiles and laughter those kids gave her. I'm sure that was the best of all. You made all the right decisions for her that was in her best interest, never doubt that you were a wonder grand daughter.

Kari... I am sad to hear about your Grannys passing. Dixie was fortunate to have a family member who loved her as much as you did. In addition to being her granddaugter, you filled the roles of friend and caregiver. You never gave up on helping make her final years happy! She appreciated it, I know. Take comfort in knowing that your Gran is with your Pawpaw, and your Mom. She will be smiling down on and protecting you, your children and family. You, Mark, Austin, Bryce, and Chelcie are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you guys! ......Rusty
