Verna L. Haapala at the age of 83 passed away on Friday, July 23, 2010 at her home in Medina Texas with her loving husband at her side. She was born on January 25, 1927 in Detroit Michigan to Elijah and Dorothy Morrow. Verna was a nurse at the State Hospital most of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Verna is survived by her husband John Haapala of Medina Texas and many other family members and friends who love her will miss her.
