Major Robert Clyde Robar

Major Robert Clyde Robar, 87, of 2151 Rose Lane, Asheboro, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Universal Health Care in Ramseur.

Memorial Services, 3:00 PM, Sunday, First Baptist Church, Asheboro.

Officiating, Rev. Mark Hall.

He was a native of Toledo, Ohio and was a member of First Baptist Church in Asheboro. He was a WW I I retired major with 23 years of military service with the US Airforce. Major Robar has extended family that spreads from California to England.

Survivors: wife, Mary Reak Robar of the home, daughters, Jacqueline Patton of Atlanta, Ga, Sue Covey and husband, Bob, of Asheboro, sons, Robert Charles Robar and wife, Patti, of Gainsville, FL, Richard Clay Rober of Santa Barbara, CA, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
