William "Coleman" Fulks, 86, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Saturday July 31, 2010 in Jo-Lin Health Center. Coleman was born March 1, 1924 in Huntington, WV, son of the late William Hartley and Mamie Ruth Gill Fulks. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Garland Fulks. Coleman was a member of the Rome Presbyterian Church, Proctorville Masonic Lodge #550 F&AM, 32 degree Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati, WWII Navy Veteran and member of the Proctorville VFW Post #6878. He is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Karl "Jack" and Joyce Fulks and Leland "Don" and Glenna Fulks; two nephews, Mike and wife Sharon Fulks and Matt Fulks; two nieces, Karla Fulks Stevens and Alice Fulks; two great nephews; three great nieces; and special family friend Holly Hayes Martin. Funeral service will be conducted 11 A.M. Tuesday August 3, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery with Proctorville VFW Post #6878 conducting military graveside rites. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday August 2, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio with Masonic service at 7:30 P.M.
