Gertrude Mae Cremeans, 81, of Huntington, WV passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2010 in the Hospice House of Huntington in Huntington, WV. She was born December 30, 1928 in Hitchings, KY to the late Leotus and Eliza Barker Nicely. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Cremeans; one son Cecil Cremeans and one daughter Barbara Chinn. She is survived by five daughters Elizabeth Ann Cremeans Allen, Naomi Cremeans, Joan Smith, Rebecca Dean and Brenda Shepard; seven sons Clifford Cremeans, Kenny Cremeans, James Cremeans, Richard Cremeans, Steve Cremeans, Walter Cremeans and Raymond Cremeans; 32 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and one brother Raymond Nicely. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Terry Wagner. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Although, I wasn't as close to you as your other grandchildren I still wont forget the memories I have with you: Riding to bingo, The Price is Right, Punky Brewster, & watching you work your word puzzles. You were a great, hard working woman with a fun sense of humor (like mine) which I'll never forget. The world wont be the same without you, but I know you're with the Lord and with my dad.
