Glenna Nichols Edwards, 81, of Proctorville, Ohio our beloved mother and nan went home to be with her Lord which she has served for over 50 years on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born June 27, 1929 in Gallia County, Ohio to the late William Henry and Velma Marie Jackson Nichols. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Hollis Edwards; sister Vivian Weeks and brother Lester Nichols. She is survived by daughters Sharon (Larry) Ward of Proctorville, Ohio and Pam (Gary) Leep of Proctorville, Ohio; four grandchildren Bryan (Tonya) Ward, James (Kristen) Ward, Rusty (Shawna) Leep and Jeremi (Tessa) Leep; six great grandchildren Brandon Irvin, Braden and Mason Ward, Holli and Steeler Leep, and Taegan Leep; one sister Grace (Landy) Fisher; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Eddie and June Edwards; special friends Ben and Elaine Whitt; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was a member of Rome Church of Christ. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Minister Brad Poe. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio.
