Sandra Kay Davis Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1955 - 2010 Sandra Kay Davis, 54 of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010 at home. She was born December 1, 1955 in Huntington, WV. to the late Marion and Gladys McCallister Shoemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death one brother Thomas Shoemaker. She is survived by her husband Mike Davis; one daughter Summer Dawn Short of Proctorville, Ohio; two sisters Patricia Burge of Huntington, WV and Phyllis Webb of Milton, WV; three brothers Charles Shoemaker of Proctorville, Ohio, Neal Shoemaker of Proctorville, Ohio and John Paul Shoemaker of Ironton, Ohio. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Proctorville, Ohio. The family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone at First Baptist Church for their prayers and support. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Jeff Black. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 12 to 1 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Proctorville, Ohio. Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements. i always thought you were a cousin rather than an aunt (only by a year). however, my condolences to the family as well. i am truly sorry i could not make the trip. you were always thought of. you are in a better place now without the associated pain and that is truly good to know. perhaps one day we will all be together again. love; troy (the younger one)
