I am so sorry for your loss. I fondly remember your Mother. She was my first grade teacher and I remember an exciting year with lots of fun activities. I am now entering my 29th year of teaching and can really appreciate what a fine teacher she was. Please know that your Mother touched many lives and is now receiving her rewards up in Heaven.

John, I had your mother in the 4th grade at Ceredo Elementary. She was a wonderful teacher but it wasn't till I was an adult that I truly appreciated the wonderful job she did and the difficult situation she was in (our teacher Mrs. Asbury had died)and how beautifully she handled a room full of grieving children. Please accept my sympathy in your loss.

John, I'm so sorry. I remember, vividly, how proud your mom always was of you! And I always admired her. She was an independent, proud woman. She touched the lives of many, many people. I'll be thinking of you and your family, tomorrow. Take care. Patty

Ms. Henderson was my favorite teacher of all time. She was strict but the most loving and caring teacher ever. I remember visiting her at her home even after I graduated high school. She was an inspirational teacher and an amazing person. I will carry my memories of her fondly and forever. May she rest in peace. Her passing is a loss for us all. May God Bless all of you.
