Sherry Lee McMillian, 53, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010 in the Hospice House of Huntington. She was born May 17, 1957 to Shelba Stapleton Curry and the late Ernest Curry. In addition to her father she was preceded in death her companion Rick McCormick, her sister Robin Curry, brother-in-law Everette Dillon. She is survived by her mother Shelba Curry; grandmother Lillie Stapleton; children Stacy (Casey) Latham, Kimberly McMillian, Jack (Kristen) McMillian, Jr.; six grandchildren; two brothers Ernest (Donna) Curry Jr. and Scott Curry; one sister Kelley Dillon and Mike Leffingwell; half sister Mary Gibson; best friends Penny Black, Tina Robert, Carol Stevens, Misty Wilkerson, Malinda Moore, Les Asbury and Junior Brannen; special aunt Sharon Bryant. Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio with Pastor Dennis Morrello officiating. Visitation will be held 1 to 1:45 p.m. Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Huntington. I knew sherry for years on top of years and she always made me smile. She had so many funny stories to tell she will be missed by many. My thoughts are with the family.

this may have been my half sister but she was my true sister AS well as the rest to me are full brothers and sisters and i love them all to my sis sherry i will always love and miss you you may be gone from here but never my heart as well as robin and dad lives on im so sorry you are gone
