I have known Henry King all of my life because not only was his wife my mom's cousin but also because when I was a young girl going to Library Time at Franklinville Library I contacted Mr.King about doing an article to get more kids interested and coming to join us.I have always remembered our conversation and cherished the article he wrote about this.Mr.King has been a good friend to my mom since my dad passed almost 2 years ago and that meant alot to our family. He will be greatly missed by all.

Sometimes in life you meet someone that touches you in a way you'll never forget. That was Mr. Henry King. It took awhile for him to warm up to me. He didn't like our former Postmaster much in Franklinville. But after delivering a few packages to his door he found out that I enjoyed seeing him. He finally started letting me bring the packages inside the house where he could reach them and not just set them on the floor inside the door. I hope he enjoyed the brief moments of conversation as much as I did. I especially loved the day I asked him how he met his wife Maxine. That will always stay in my heart. He smiled so big that day. Thank you Henry for the brief time you touched my life. I will never forget you. I wish I could have stayed and listened to you everyday.
