Chrysteen Davis, 79, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Friday, November 5, 2010 in the Hospice House of Huntington, Huntington, WV. She was born April 6, 1931 in Oil Springs, KY to the late Frank and Katie Conley Blair. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ellis E. Davis; her daughter Susan D. Thompson; twelve brothers and sisters. She is survived by two daughters Kathy Ferguson of South Point, Ohio and Karen (Gary) Jackson of Chesapeake, Ohio; seven grandchildren Donald Keith Chaffins, Randy Ellis Davis, Christopher Bruce Thompson, James Robert Ferguson, Gary Bruce Thompson, Jr. Crystal Diane Thompson and Jaclyn Chantae Childers; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Bill Smith. Entombment will follow at Rome Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
