Denvil  EllisDenvil Ellis, 84, of Chesapeake, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 15, 2010 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. He was born October 22, 1926 in Chesapeake, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Maxine Ellis; son-in-law Tom Smith; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by two daughters Sandra Smith of Proctorville, Ohio and Brenda (Joe) Barnett of Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren, T.H. Smith of Jacksonville, FL, Tammi Weinsweig of Huntington, WV, Tina Wilcoxon of Proctorville, Ohio, Kristopher Barnett of Cincinnati, Ohio and Blair Budd of Cincinnati, Ohio; and nine great grandchildren. Denvil was former owner of Huntington Battery and Supply, and he was a member of Mt. Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Mark Roach. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio. Visitation will be held 12 to 1 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mt. Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 451 Co Rd 68, Chesapeake, Ohio 45619. Sandy, We are so sorry for the loss of your Dad, but he is finally at rest. You took such good care of him, and you did it selflessly. You will never regret it!
