1918 - 2010
God called his name and our beloved Norman made his journey into the presence of God to live forever in the Father's house. Norman R. Fulks, 92, of Proctorville, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at his residence. He was born September 3, 1918 to the late Burt and Lillian Martin Fulks. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son James R. Fulks; one brother Victor Fulks; three sisters Agnes Midkiff, Pat Culp and Alma Middleton. He is survived by his wife of 74 years Nell F. Fulks; one special sister Wanda Burcham and her daughter Nancy Dabney of Lincolnton, N.C.; special nieces Judy Poff and Becky Flowers; a very special nephew Norman Lee Fulks and his wife Paulette and their son Norman Lee Fulks whom he loved dearly. He owned and operated a produce business on the Old City Market and drove a truck for many years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Norman was a member of The Sanctuary of Grace Church. One of his many joys in life was raising tomatoes, paw paws and chestnuts and enjoyed sharing with everyone. We were all so blessed to have him in our life. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Todd Kincaid and Pastor Kevin Bloomfield. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Norman and his family are distant cousins to me and my family. I have lost track of all of them but think of my ancesters. God Bless all of the family still living and glad to know he was a child of the King! God is so good to us. Any of the family left can feel free to write me. Frank, me and Joan Hope, Bernice's daughter are still living and living for the Lord!! Grandma Margaret was a Fulks and married a Williams.
