Virgil Lee Pemberton, 81, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born November 11, 1929 in Huntington, WV. to the late William W. and Nellie M. Effingham Pemberton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Lyndell Pemberton and two brothers. He is survived by two sons Michael Pemberton and his wife Connie and Patrick Pemberton; six grandchildren Michael Pemberton, II and his wife Rachael, Amanda Shaver and husband Tim, Nicole Erma Lovich and husband James, Emily Ball and husband Dan, Patrick Allen Pemberton, II and wife Jessica, Zachary Pemberton and Molly; three great grandchildren Jordan Erma Lovich, Carson Ball and Elizabeth Erma Lovich; one sister Barbara Fisher of Mimm, FL. He attended First Church of Nazarene. He retired from INCO Alloys. He was a member of the Proctorville V.F.W. Post 6878. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, November 29, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor John Arnold and Pastor Bob Weaver. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Proctorville V.F.W. Post 6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Proctorville V.F.W. Post 6878 P.O.
