Ernestine was a faithful, hard worker who did not quit. During some tough financial days at Burlington Church(at time UM), she organized rummage sales with Ruth Fort. On several occasions I was one of her security people to insure no one shoplifted the rummage! Based on her training, I have organized a few rummage sales up here over the past almost twelve years.
Ernestine personally encouraged me with both her actions and words, and was certainly focused on the mission of Jesus. I thank God that she was a part of my life for eight years.

Debbie & Robin:
Aunt Ernestine was a very lovely person whose humility, sincere kindness and gracious hospitality will not be forgotten. We always looked forward to visiting with her.
She was a loving example of a serving, faithful and true believer for all of us. Without a doubt, she is now in a far better place. Nonetheless, she will be missed.
Our love and prayers to you and your families.
